3d Printing fun!

Hey everyone,
I wanted to see if anyone has a 3d printer and to possibly start a new category to see if we can help each other with questions or issues.

I have a Creality Ender 3v2 with a 4.2.7 motherboard.

I am by far a beginner with it but have run into a few little issues and am learning a lot about it.

I am hoping one shows up for Christmas. I have no need for one at all, but… Have always been fascinated with it. A friend of mine made some ubiquiti AP window mounts with one, I thought that was pretty cool.

What are you creating with yours?

The kids find lots of things to print.

I have also made game pieces for their Connect 4 game they lost as well as some parts to fix my wife’s cup cake carrier that broke.

Honestly once you have one you start to find uses for it haha.

We got one at the office and make some great Unifi mounts and fun stuff.

I bought a Bambu A1 Mini earlier this year and I’ve been quite surprised to see the number of items I could print. Everything from switch port covers, cable holders, tool holders, and on and on and on.

I have heard good things about those printers.

I got a 3d printer for Christmas! Nothing big, a beginners one, the Tina2S. Easy to set up and doing a test print now.

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you all are having a good time and a decent break.

How is the 3d printing going?

I just installed a BLTouch on my Ender 3v2 and am very excited to not have to worry about bed leveling anymore!

Having fun with it so far. Testing out different filaments and printing small stuff. I have made a lot of labels for my garden plants. I have only used the Poloprint cloud app with it. The “slicing software” is very confusing to me. What program do you use?

I use Cura and it always seems like there is more to learn with it…and the 3d printer itself!

Ok, I have that too. I have watched some youtube videos on it but not really understanding it yet. Hoping I will have some time soon to learn it better.
