Working from home and in an office by myself can get crazy. I setup a streaming music station for myself in the home office. At work a FOSI Audio GR40 preamp with a Audioengine power speaker.
is that running lyrion music server as the back end?
I use Apple Music and connect to NAS to play MP3s.
i like lyrion server (dont like dependency on third party) as u can run it on any linux (or windows) system, its power comes from the plugins that you can use in it and the player (squeezelite) can be installed on anything (i run it in a terminal on my laptop) when out and about, and it shows up as a player on the lyrion server webgui (i run tailscale on my laptop)
i also use the chromecast plugin so that every chromecast becomes a player as well
also radioparadise plugin is available so you can stream “flac radio” to a raspberry pi running picoreplayer with a hifiberry hat, attached to a high end hifi system
I have Pi3Bs, looks like I have another project, build a streamer
.. the utube plugin is the icing on the cake!
