Connecting multiple Unifi USW Ultra switches (with power adapter)

Is it possible to connect multiple Unifi USW Ultra switches (using power adapters, not PoE version) to a single Unifi Router; i.e. USW-U-60W, USW-U-210W? I am currently using the Unifi UXG-Lite, but eventually want to replace it with the coming UDR-Ultra (Like the Unifi Cloud Gateway Ultra, but includes a M2 SSD for Protect).

Welcome to the community!

Sure – you just daisy chain them.

The USW-U has an input PoE on the back, and 7 PoE output in the front. My thought is as follows, but would like validation.

CloudKey —> rear PoE [USW-U] front PoE port-1 ----> rear PoE [USW-U]

As long as you have a poe injector or other power source it may work.

Thanks, I will try it out next weekend and post the results. The plan I am hoping will work is illustrated in this draw.io diagram I created.

Finished replacing my two Unifi US-8-150w 8 PoE, SFP (gen1) with the two new USW-Ultra-60W Ultra 60W switches as I showed in my above diagram and everything works like a charm. I am very impressed with the switches. The budgeted 52 watts is plenty for the number of cameras, cloudkey, etc. I run PoE off the switches. The space savings is incredible, which allowed me to install a CyberPower 700V UPS/Surge Protection battery backup (see at the bottom of the pic). I am including a pick of the inside of my media cabinet (my personal home setup).

Great job! Very clean! You should post this in the network pictures section too!
