Curious if there is a way to easily lock down the menu(s) and/or certain features on the GRP phones? I am deploying a system in a church where some extensions will be in ‘public’ areas (i.e. not on someone’s desk but in areas throughout the church building) and the concern is that bored kids or even adults might get in the menu and change things (ringtones, etc). Any easy way to do this? Maybe require a passcode through the keypad if someone with authorization needs to change something? P-value or something? Be great if I can do it at the system/UCM/zero config level…
Take a look at P1357
Thanks. I’ll see if that does it.
It appears that the documentation does not include all the available functions. You will set it to 3 to lock the menu. You can also do this in the Web interface for the phone under Security Settings/WebSSH Access/Keypad Mode
