Dream Machine, UCM Cloud, GS Phone issues

I have one very “quirky” site I manage that has a dream machine, utilizing unifi access points and switches. We run Grandstream 2614 phones connected to a UCM cloud instance and have more connectivity issues than I have seen at any other site with similar setups…

I did not set this network up, rather inherited it, and I believe there are some quirks with the dream machine first and foremost / it may even be slowly dying as it weekly will disconnect from the Unifi management portal, though still accessible / can VPN in, etc, which is beside the point and will be investigated…

My root question - for those of you doing similar things, have you had similar issues with phones being unreachable / and have there been any notable tweaks you have had to make in the dream machine to make things work more reliably?

Make sure that the SIP ALG is disabled. Also setup a QoS rule for SIP and RTSP (and the encrypted versions if you’re using them). See what that does – if the USG is failing this may not help.
