GCC6021 - what are your current impressions / experiences?

As the title says.. I am looking for feedback from those running a GCC6020 or GCC6021. How is it performing? I would be moving from a UDM Pro to this for context.

Well that’s a telling response. I’m guessing there aren’t many people using those firewalls yet.

I have not had a chance to use the 6020/6021 yet but have been running the 6011 for several months now. I did activate the life time license for the firewall services as my cost on it was not much at all. So far it’s doing its job well. I like seeing all the IPs that get blocked, so many bot nets hit it constantly

I have 4 or 5 of the GCC6010/6011’s in place and they are working fine. I am using the PBX function on them as well. I just received a GCC6020 for testing and plan to put it in service around the end of the year if testing goes well.

haven’t used them either yet, but have 4 - 6010’s in the field and haven’t had any complaints. I like the UDM better as it is prettied / “easier” to configure, but have periodic VOIP issues with the UCM and no issues with anything on the GCC…

We are rolling out the GCC6021. No other vendor has a direct comparable device yet. This thing is super powerful and with the HA setup – it’s insane price to value.

So far I have done 2x21’s and 2x20’s. Been really working well. Both 21’s have router-firewall-pbx on. Some issues with cloud on pbx side but I think it has to do with ATT routers passthough. Even though ports are opened. Need to try FQDN. The other 6021 is working prefect but using different ISP. The 20’s are just using of course router and GCC firewall. One at our office and one at my house. I had an issue with DMZ on and configured and wireguard on but not working. But figured out the DMZ takes over wireguard configuration. It assumes that you have a wireguard server in DMZ.

Agreed, 6011 been flawless. I just did the 3yr licenses as my one year is about to expire. I agree the amount of blocked traffic is impressive and I like looking through it. The geo filtering is very nice
