Title says it all folks. Has anyone tried out the GWN7664e yet? How does it company to the O.G. 7664?
I have not tried that one myself but will be installing a 7664ELR next week and can let you know how it performs. I’m sure it will be similar to the 7664E.
It’s our primary AP right now – along side a GWN7665 – network has never been more stable – using the GCC6010 controller for them.

Willie, how do YOU deal with AirPrint across VLANs? Yes, GCC6010 has bonjour repeating in it, but it is a mess right now. It causes devices to see duplicate names and change names all the time, and does not fully support AirPrint correctly. UniFi does this really well, and has for a while, but I really want to go full Grandstream stack and not lose my vlans.
Installed a 7664elr this morning at a client site. Very fast, AP starts up quicker than others. I will probably start doing more of the 7664e over the regular 7664. The 7664e cost less than the 7664 from my vendor so will start using more of them probably.
