Has anyone switched to the new Kea DHCP Server? I have in my lab and have not had any issues.
Also with the latest update to OPNsense they have added import and export buttons for DHCP reservations. Now you can import a .csv file with your reservations which should make migration a bit easier for folks that use a lot of dhcp reservations.
I feel like these are the kinds of things that should have been available a long time ago. At least we have them as options now, though.
I agree the import/export functions should have been in the ISC DHCP server all along and am happy that the maintainers listened to the community and have added it as a way to help users migrate to the newer KEA DHCP server (although its still not in the ISC pages) since ISC is going out of support. I wonder how many people are actually looking at migrating or if they are hoping OPNSense will come out with a migrator tool to do it for them…Or pay us at WillieHowe Technology to do it for them 
I switched in the lab and things seemed to work well. It does seem to be lacking things like Option 43, at least from the Gui on OPNsense. I’m sure it could be added via CLI but will wait until more options open up. Unless I’m missing something.
