I have a Netgate 4200 coming soon. It would be great collect user experiences with this updated product. This is my first deployment of PfSense in my home lab. I have watched many YouTube videos on setting this up with Unifi.

I have completed a major milestone stone. Last year I decided to upgrade my home network. Mostly for data privacy and security reasons.
I ran over 1,200 feet of Cat6 in my home and purchased Unifi products for my switch, APs, and controller. I am using the newly released Netgate 4200 with pfSence for my router and firewall. Note this all replaced a Google mess system so the leaning curve was high. Thank goodness for this channel and several others.
I was having some initial issues with getting pfSense running. I made a call to Netgate and I less then 10 minutes the technician was remotely connected and in about 25 minutes fixed my issue. Let’s just say that I am a huge fan now of the company Netgate.
I am working daily to improve the security. Quad9 has been set up as my DNS (with encryption) and I have deployed pfBlockerNG (replaced my Pi-hole).
Note this is my first rack set up per the photo I shared. I am sure there are better ways to mount my gear. Just calling this out to hopefully prevent unsolicited advice on rack mounting advice. 
I am just starting my journey and this channel and form will always remain in my “tool box”.

I would be happy to chat about my journey. It started with buying a Synology 1522+ and I just continued down the technology rabbit hole. Watching your channel and several others has taught me a great deal. Thanks for posting all the wonderful content.
Looks awesome, the thin 6" patch cables are nice.
