Does anyone know or have an idea on how much will the licenses cost for the GCC series.
Willie showed its GCC6010 and it was visible that the firewall and the antivirus had an expiry date of 1 year. This is not exactly a surprise, but I can’t find this kind of info.
I’m also interested to learn what subscription pricing might be.
Thanks @rutman286 , but that is for the PBX part. What I am asking is the price for antivirus licenses and firewall licenses. This is the part I have not been able to find.
Ooh I missed that, sorry!
Great question! I’m waiting for my contacts at Grandstream to let me know. There will be a follow up video and I’ll post the information here. I don’t think it’s going to be crazy – but we’ll all find out together!
Any updated info on this Willie? I just ordered a GCC6010 to play with.
Not yet! Still waiting… … … … .
Just found out in NL:
This service, entitles the user to receive updates for the following frequencies and following services:
• Daily (anti-malware)
• Weekly (DPI application firewall filtering)
• Monthly (IPS/IDS, URL categorization, etc)Upon first year ends. If the user wants to continue receiving updates there is a service you can purchase.
• GCC-Security-1H => VAP ex btw 75,- Euro => Duration: 1 year since purchase
• GCC-Security-3H => VAP ex btw 159,- Euro => Duration: 3 years since purchase
• GCC-Security-Life => VAP ex btw 309,- Euro => Duration: Lifetime (this means till the product is declared EOL by Grandstream Networks)In case that the user decides not to expend any further money on updates, the GCC will continue to run with the latest received updates. The functionality will NOT BE STOPPED OR LOST, it’s effectiveness however will just became obsolete with time. The user can purchase the service at any given time even after the service is already expired.
Might be cheaper in NZ:
Grandstream GCC Lifetime Security Update Package
$368.00 +GST
SKU: GCC-Security-Life
which comes down to roughly 205 EUR
I have USD prices. Video coming tomorrow at some point.
