I pulled the triggered and ordered a new Reyee router model RG-EG1510XS - The Powerful EG go BIG, Next Level Flagship Business Router For Up To 1500 Clients - Ruijie Reyee
I also purchased the Reyee model RG-EG305GH-P-E, installed in my son’s apartment in NJ. I then setup a VPN between my home in SC and their apartment. What is nice I setup a Beryl travel router (VPN) in my home office, connect my Firestick, I now have all NY market news, sports (NY Knicks, Yankees).

Is that using OpenVPN?
Yes, I am using OpenVPN. Per the Ruijie community forums Wireguard is coming soon.

The Reyee router was $400. I am only using OpenVPN for streaming, the no issues with the throughput.
That’s because most routers don’t have hardware offload for OpenVPN – so the performance can really suffer. When you do OpenVPN on an EdgeRouter – you MIGHT get 40Mbps of throughput.
I am averaging around 135Mbps down, no issues for wireless connection to the travel router. Streaming YouTube TV, Hulu, NetFlix no issues.
