Site to site link, my ubb is dying

So several weeks ago, a lighting strike took out 2 cams, a edge 16 Poe and apparently damaged my 60ghz ubb PTP. One side constantly needs to be power cycled to stay online. So … I wanna replace it. Was hoping GS would have their PTP solution out by now but no idea when that may happen. Trying to keep the price under $300, if I spend more than that I will just buy another ubb. I am wondering what other site to site solutions anyone here has tried and are happy with. I have an older 5ghz nanobeam I may hook back up but pretty spoiled now with the 60ghz bandwidth! Thanks for any ideas.

I put in a pair of Engenius PtP units at my father in laws business and they have been rock solid. I think they were around $179 for the pair at the time.

Mikrtotik has a 60ghz bridge kit and it’s rock solid and cheaper than UI. Cambium also has bridge in a box.

Awesome, thanks for the suggestions! @williehowe @James I will definitely give those a look over and try one out.

If you want something that’s easy use Enstation6 kit, they are really reliable. But if you have a lot frequency floating around use Cambium Force 300-16. They will auto switch frequencies if needed. There is a bit of learning curve with cambium. But really rock solid.

Thanks Gibby, I am still debating on what I want to do. I will check those out. Currently I flipped the ubbs so the bad one is on the network switch that’s inside my house. That way I can either just walk over and pull the cable and plug back in or log into the switch if I am gone and turn poe off and back on. Sometimes it last for 30min other times stays up for over a day.

Nice work around! We do what we have to do to make it work!
