Normally I run an HA pair of flash stations (one controller per chassis) but after doing my annual design updates I saw the cost is getting really close if not exceeding major brands.
If I go single chassis dual controller, I still get controller redundancy and less drives I have to get but only one chassis so if the chassis failed, I would lose both. If I go dual chassis single controller its literally double on everything and more network overhead but I get complete redundancy.
What’s everyone’s thoughts on single chassis with dual controller’s vs dual chassis single controller?
