I have a customer that is set on a mesh system. 
Has anyone ever used or using the Unifi AmpliFi Mesh?
I installed one a few years back, base with 2 repeaters. It worked fairly well. Used in a 3 story house. I did not put much effort into maximizing the signal strength, didn’t really need too. Client seemed happy!
It is never an ideal setup, EVER. But you could also look at the Alta Labs AP6-PRO aps. Their APs mesh better than anything else I have ever tested.
I don’t think AmpliFi will be a thing much longer – they’ve paired down the offerings and are offering more devices that can do a better job in UniFi – but I could be wrong.
I’m pushing for unifi access points. But, what do I know, the customers “always” knows more than the pros, is always right until, they aren’t.
