Unifi Long Distance Cameras

Looking at some camera options for a client and am struggling to find many details for the Ubiquiti UniFi Camera AI DSLR Long Distance (UVC-AI-DSLR-LD).
Trying to find what the night vision distance is.
Their AI Bullet Pro tells me “25 m (82 ft) IR night vision”. (and similar stats listed for most of their other cameras).
I can’t seem to find anything relating to what the LD version with the 45mm lens can do.
Does anyone have any additional info?

At night I would use that number. If you had IR illuminators further out you could probably see further but proper night lighting is key. It’s not uncommon for us to install poe powered IR banks to enhance past the built in IR.

Trying to compare it to something like the ACTi B928 5MP which says it has 150m-200m IR Working Distance / Night Vision Distance.
Wondering whether the DSLR LD can perform similar to be able to stick to an all Unifi system, or whether I have to look at third party solutions.

Reply from a UI bod on their forum:

The AI-DSLR is an ultra low light camera featuring an M4/3 sensor and a prime f/1.2 lens. It’s intended to be used for high-quality color night vision using ambient light, and does not use IR for night vision. These cameras are perfect when monitoring large areas like a parking lot that have some area lighting but would otherwise be difficult to effectively illuminate using IR.

What do they consider ambient light? I’m not sure that’s a standard that a lot of these manufacturers define. Is it 1 lumen? 50 lumens?

I didn’t ask, but the client doesn’t want to light up the area the camera would be targeting as that’s an additional cost they may struggle to justify, and having it lit up may “advertise” things more.
