Voicemail to email with CloudUCM

Hi All,

Lately I have been having some email issue with CloudUCM. I am running the latest firmware. The issue is hard to pin down as it seems to happen randomly and after a certain amount of time.

Sometimes, a person can leave a voice message on someone’s extension, and I can see the number of new voicemails tick up by one on the extension screen. This shows me the voicemail was properly recorded. However, when I go into “Email Settings” I do not see any email for that person, even though it worked prior, and everything is still set up properly.

Has anyone run into this issue? Has anyone run into any other voicemail issues? I would love to discuss.

Hey Greg, I know we have talked about this via email. I have not had exactly this issue, usually when it stops sending emails I have to delete and recreate the extension. I have not had anyone report this not working on clouducm but I have had a few 6300s do this randomly. What email provider are you using on the one that is messing up?

Yeah, for the longest time I haven’t seen it at all with cloudUCM, only with 630x. Maybe you have a situation where customers just don’t say anything, assuming it will just go away. I hope that’s not it for you.

I’m attaching a screenshot of my email page.

For this service, I use Dotster. But can’t see how they are at fault since the send logs show no email as sent, or even deferred.

When it happened yesterday, I took a syslog, configured to how GSSupport told me, so hopefully it’ll work out.

I usually just go to the Cleaner, and clean only the “Voicemail” module, and that fixes it up, but it’s a temporary fix.
